Why would a site that deals with layoffs and unemployment have a page on Net Acess ? Because if your unemployed you need to save every penny you can. When you are unemployed Net acess is critical to your job search. The single largest expense for most computer users is their ISP "Internet Service Provider" you can easily spend $300.00 plus per year for a basic internet provider. If you have high speed internet access the price runs about $480.00 per year. I have used most of them and their is no reason you should continue to pay $20 to $25 a month for a dial up internet provider like AOL and many others or $40.00 per month for high speed Internet access like Road Runner or DSL.
You can spend hours looking for inexpensive Inter net acess information without getting anywhere. There are so many search engines, Inter net acess newsgroups, Internet acess chat rooms that you can easily get lost among all of them. I just did a quick search on goggle for Internet acess and found 152339 pages for internet acess alone. Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of pages for other related searches.
We Compared 40 Plus Internet Acess Companies
We compared more than 40 internet acess companies and their ISP products. Don't worry we won't bore you with all of the details. Just the quick and dirty facts :o)
I can go into all of the detail of why one internet acess company is the worst and why the others picked are better but I don't want to go down that path. I'm going to give you the bottom line. If you must have a visual you can click here. The worst Overall ISPs based on all the research are #1 AOL. In a survey I found online 30% of their users said that they were not satisfied and wanted to switch to another internet acess company. I agree, I've tried them three different times. Never again. The next worst was Earth Link. This is almost as bad as AOL. Next was MSN
If you need to cut expenses you should give one of these internet acess providers a try. Both of these providers have a free version that you might want to try out. I just don't like all of the advertising banners and pop up windows in the free versions, they really seem to slow things down. If you don't like all of that stuff either their premium service is a great deal at less than $10.00 per month. I personally use Net Zero for internet acess. They have more dial in numbers than AOL so it is also great if you travel
